We simply love dead sea mud. We’ve embedded a loofah that will create an extra scrub effect leaving your skin soft and healthy. Some skin-loving benefits of dead sea mud:
1. IT HELPS WITH DRY SKIN CONDITIONS
The skin-nourishing minerals in dead sea mud are known to help alleviate symptoms of dry skin conditions. The mud helps restore moisture and relieve symptoms, soothing dry, rough, irritated skin. An added benefit of dead sea mud is that the salt and magnesium in it can improve your skin’s functionality by making it a better barrier and more elastic.
2. IT HELPS PURIFY AND REFINE THE SKIN
One of the things that the Dead Sea mud can do to our skin is purification. It helps to release the impurities in our skin with its gentle pulling action that exfoliates the surface and draws out unwanted toxins and sebum (oil) buildup in the pores. This dual-action helps shrink the pores making the skin look more refined, healthier, and younger.
3. IT IMPROVES BLOOD CIRCULATION
Dead sea mud is rich in calcium, potassium, and magnesium which all help to relax our nerves and therefore promote blood flow. As the blood vessels expand and more blood flows, much-needed nutrients and oxygen are delivered to our skin cells. Likewise, the toxins and wastes are carried away by the blood. This process is very important in keeping our skin healthy, young, and vibrant.
4. IT’S ANTI-BACTERIAL
The exfoliating and detoxifying properties of dead sea mud are also great for treating acne. The mud clears out pores and absorbs excess sebum (oil). It has also been shown to have antibacterial properties, killing off the bacteria that can cause acne
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A scent-free, green-grey-ish round soap bar that lathers softly to create a rich, herbaceous foam. Being a natural handmade product there may be variations in scent, weight, shape, and color. We try to provide the same shape, weight, and color with each batch
Vegan | Palm Oil Free | Not tested on animals | NET weight: approx. 4.5 oz (125 g) |
HOW TO USE:
Wet skin with (warm) water, gently applies the soap to create a lather, and rinse clean. Use a loofah or washcloth for extra exfoliation & lather.
Soap bars have the potential to last a long time — the trick is to keep them as dry as possible between uses. Water breaks your bar down, so keeping it in the direct stream of your shower will shorten its life. Store it outside of the shower on a soap dish, ideally one with holes, to let it dry.
Also, before you use a new bar, cut it into two or three chunks. By using one piece at a time, your bar will last even longer, as the rest of it won’t be getting wet.
When there are only scraps left, try putting them into a small mesh bag to continue washing with them
